Garmin Ant Agent 2.2.1
I have a Garmin FR60 Heart Rate Monitor watch (and foot pod) for running and I want to upload my performance data to the Garmin Connect web site. I need to use the ANT agent USB stick for the Garmin web site to talk to the FR60 watch.
There doesn't appearto be a Garmin app yet in the Windows Store and when I insert the ANT stick, Windows RT reports it as an ANT agent stick, but then says 'not supported on this version of Windows'. The ANT stick works fine on my Windows 7 Netbook, but not on my Surface RT.Does anyone (possibly working for Garmin) know when there will be a ANT agent driver for WIndows RT and when there will be a Garmin sports watch app in the app store. I would like to upgrade my watch to a Forerunner 610 GPS watch, but I'm reluctant to spendthe £250 if I can't use it with my Surface RT. I've asked Garmin support the same question and - so far - a stoney silence. (I have another problem between a Garmin device and a Windows device - this time one of Garmin's latest (and most expensive) GPS andmy Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone 7.5. When I try to connect the two via Bluetooth, the Garmin just reboots itself. Garmin in that case said 'we have no plans to support such a device.
